About the House

The house is set up in a way that you have privacy when needed and a community when wanted.

Perras house lies in a unique secluded area surrounded by other family homes, a private garden area and appartment buildings. The whole living space is approx. 300m2 on 3 floors plus the garden area. It consists of 6 single rooms that share 2 bathrooms, 1 room on the top floor with a private bathroom that share the common spaces – the main kitchen and the downstairs kitchen, downstairs communal space, garden and 4 Studios that have their own private small kitchens and separate bathrooms.

All communal areas are of course available to all tenants of the House-share.

Here are all our communal spaces for socializing, relaxing, cooking, making friends and memories.

The Main Kitchen aka. The Heart of the House

The Main Kitchen on the main floor of the house is the biggest common space, aside from our garden seating area. Its quite spacious and usually is where most of socializing happens. It consists of a big table and chairs, all possible appliances including an air fryer, blender, toaster, micro-wave, big dish washer, 2 fridges and a freezer, video projector and floorpillows for a cozy movie night and a “Harry Potter” space under the stairs where you can find a little bit of everything that you did not even know you needed, until you do. All extention cords, board games, sewing kit, office suppplies, a laminator to arts & crafts, birthday stuff or dress up gadgets are yours to use while staying at the house.

The Downstairs Comunal space

The Downstairs comunal space is a quiet area you can retreat away from the socializing spaces and is sometimes the crative corner of the house where you can also find the small but eclectic Houselibrary.

The Garden and Seating area

Our House comes with a surrounding garden and a big seating area both available for every tenant to use and enjoy. Ideal for study, morning coffee, afternoon hang-outs, barbecue events, or a fun yoga session with cats. It’s also ideal for gardening ( “green fingers” are welcome as we have tomatoes growing and a herb garden you can use for cooking) or an evening relaxing under the stars in Center of Zagreb. The quiet hours of the outside are 10 pm till 8 am and have to be rigorously respected.
